Complex, a bit of trash underneath a dark wash, controlled crash that opens up easily and a woody stick with a hint of that ‘silvery’ element. It’s been tuned to play evenly over the entire bow and the upper bow/bridge is nicely integrated with none of those hollow spots you often find in Turkish cymbals.
